Former Executive Roles, Southcorp Wines & McGuigan Simeon
McDougall is an Australian wine industry veteran with over 30 years of agribusiness experience including executive roles with Southcorp Wines, McGuigan Simeon Wines and others. McDougall currently runs his own consultancy and over the years has worked balancing vineyard production, purchased grapes and wine, with the demands of a diverse portfolio of brands and wines, in both Australia and California.
McDougall, a Commerce graduate of University of Queensland, started his career in 1967 with KPMG in Brisbane. McDougall spent from 1970 - 1989 at Agricultural Investments Australia Ltd where he served in roles as general manager and managing director. He then started his own consultant business and focused on agribusiness investment consulting, something he continues to do today. McDougall spent nearly 10 years (1993-2002) working for Southcorp Wines Pty Limited in Adelaide in roles such as business development manager, general manager and national property and resource manager. Most recently, McDougall was the group resource manager for McGuigan Simeon Wines Limited in Adelaide.
Mc Dougall is a member of numerous industry committees associated with, the Australian Wine & Brandy Corporation, Winemakers Federation of Australia, Cooperative Research Centre for Viticulture, and SA Wine & Brandy Industry Association Inc.
