Anjali R. Kataria, M.P.P.
Founder & Chief Marketing Officer
Anjali Kataria was Conformia's founding President and CEO and grew the Company from inception to release of the first PCM platform and product before moving into her role as Chief Marketing Officer. Ms. Kataria's experience includes research, compliance, and investigation experience from service in two government agencies as well as bench research on a precursor to the Epigenesis platform for asthma therapeutics at ECU School of Medicine. At the Advisory Board Company (NASDAQ: ABCO), she gained experience in sales and business development of Best Practices Research on a variety of Clinical Business Performance Improvement topics, including Cardiology and Oncology.
Ms. Kataria received an A.B. from Duke University (Terry Sanford Institute of Policy) where she attended college on a full four year B.N Duke Merit Scholarship and concentrated her studies on biomedical and health care policy. She is also the recipient of an Echoing Green Public Service Fellowship with which she laid the seeds for a public private partnership between AAPI and NIH. Ms. Kataria received her Masters of Public Policy (M.P.P.) from the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, concentrating her work on Regulations, Business-Government Relationships, and Public Private Partnerships. She was the recipient of Harvard's Pacific Basin Soka grant for her Master's Thesis research on regulatory impact on human rights (child labor).
Ms. Kataria is an advisory board member of Silicon Valley's Forum for Women Enterpreneurs and Executives (FWEE). She has been nationally recognized by several leading publications including: Information Week Magazine as co-founding one of the most promising start-up ventures of 2001; by Business Forward Magazine as one of the "Top 40 under 40 rising stars in the Greater Washington, DC area"; and most recently by PharmaVoice as one of the Top 100 visionaries in the Life Sciences Industry for 2005.
