Mark IsaacsVice President Life Sciences Business Operations
Mark Isaacs has eighteen years experience of senior level, global business development, sales and sales management focused on bringing innovative solutions to the life sciences industry. He has an in-depth understanding of the drug development process and the challenges in improving work processes to accelerate time to market and improve product quality and process robustness.
Prior to joining Conformia Mr Isaacs served on the Executive Board of Hyprotech – a process modeling enterprise software company - and contributed to its tripling in size within five years before the company was acquired by Aspentech in 2002. Mr Isaacs also led a team responsible for commercializing the Batch Design Kit – software focused on improving process development supported by world-class consultants expert in critical pharmaceutical unit operations such as crystallization, filtration and drying used by companies such Pfizer, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Abbott Laboratories, Merck, GlaxoSmithKline and Astra Zeneca. Prior to joining Hyprotech Mr Isaacs held various positions with international operations and business development responsibilities in AEA Technology – a British based science and engineering services company of over 3000 staff. He moved from the UK to the United States in the early nineties to help establish and grow their US operations. Mr Isaacs holds a First Class Masters Degree in Natural Sciences and Chemical Engineering from St John’s College, Cambridge University in the UK, is a member of the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering and has served on various Industry Advisory Boards including the Advisory Committee of Management Division for the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. |
