Vinay Ambekar brings over 24 years of experience in building software development teams and developing enterprise-wide web-based and client-server products. He has a proven track record of applying a strong combination of technical, business and management skills to translate marketing vision into successful products. Mr. Ambekar’s extensive experience in establishing and nurturing global development teams to consistently deliver enterprise software products for deployment in Fortune 500 companies is an asset to Conformia. He has been an international leader in developing and managing multi-tier, large outsource and offshore partnerships.
Mr. Ambekar is experienced in enterprise integration, product life cycle management (design history), data warehousing methodologies, and supply chain management solutions. Prior to joining Conformia, Vinay led management and development efforts at three highly successful companies that brought innovative solutions to market. His positions were Vice President of Supplier Relationship Management Products Development at i2 Technologies, Sr. Director of Integrations and Director of Applications Development at Aspect Development and General Manager of Industrial Automation at Kirloskar Computer Services.
Mr. Ambekar holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Mysore University in India. Mr. Ambekar was also responsible for co-founding and developing "Jayciana," a national, multi-disciplinary, inter-collegiate competition. He grew the competition to a multi-day event to include over 200 participating institutions from all over India.
