Conformia Software New Name of RIVA Commerce, Inc.
Track Record of successful enterprise products development and deployments catapults Conformia to leadership in Enterprise Conformance Management (ECM)

Redwood City, California, USA - May 20, 2003 RIVA Commerce, Inc., ("RIVA") an enterprise software company based in Redwood City, CA today changed its name to Conformia Software ("Conformia"). The company will continue to develop Enterprise Conformance Management (ECM) solutions that will enable companies to simultaneously meet production performance and compliance goals.

The name change brings better clarity to the core mission of the company's enterprise software applications. Conformia is currently delivering the first ECM solution to the Global Alcohol and Life Sciences Industries.

When a company changes their name, there is often criticism stated Co-Founder Anjali Kataria: "However, this change is an important milestone in the evolution of our company. It doesn't signify an end or a beginning. Rather, it marks how far we have come and gives us a framework for how much further we aim to go."

Conformia received Series A Financing from Sequoia Capital in November 2002. Since then, the company has been on a trajectory of positive growth. The new name and logo powerfully expresses a framework that encompasses the challenges inherent in managing innovation and efficiency; the interrelationships between internal and external standards; and the dual emphasis of simultaneously meeting corporate business performance as well as government compliance goals.

Through use of ECM solutions, companies may benefit by bringing higher quality, best in class products to market faster and greater efficiency. For more information visit: www.conformia.com
